San Diego, CA - January 28, 1998 - Relativity Technologies, Inc. and Ernst & Young LLP announced today a development partnership to build a Year 2000 solution for client/server systems based on the technology of Relativity's flagship legacy transformation product, RescueWare. Ernst & Young, a leading information technology consulting firm, has stated that it has more than a $500 million backlog of Year 2000 work. Relativity Technologies is a start-up software firm in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

Relativity's RescueWare is the industry's first software solution to integrate and automate the complete process for transforming legacy systems to modern computing platforms, such as the Internet and client/server. Gartner Group estimates that organizations worldwide will spend $600 billion dollars repairing their systems just to handle Year 2000 processing, with no other benefits.
