Relativity's Mission
Relativity Technologies' mission is to be the leading supplier of legacy transformation solutions that easily and rapidly transition business-critical legacy systems to modern computing platforms, such as the Internet and client/server.

Relativity was founded in February 1997 in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

Relativity Legacy Transformation

With a growing number of strategic applications moving to Internet-based and client/server computing paradigms, the challenge has become how to move massive legacy systems to these environments. Relativity offers a fully integrated and graphical Windows-based solution, RescueWare, that significantly reduces the time, cost and risk involved in performing this legacy transformation process.

Transformation is defined as the transition of existing system screens, business logic and data to modern computing paradigms (e.g., event-driven and object-based) and platforms (e.g., Windows clients, Sun servers, HP servers).

Relativity also offers Year 2000 and European Monetary Union analysis and remediation as part of the transformation solution. Customers can remediate their systems while capturing all the information required to transform all or part of these systems to modern platforms, providing value beyond the Year 2000.

RescueWare®
RescueWare dramatically improves the economics of modernizing business critical legacy systems by automating the transformation of these systems to Internet or client/server platforms. RescueWare significantly reduces the risk within these projects by using advanced technology to identify, extract and translate vital business rules and workflow. By transitioning legacy code to modern languages, companies can also take advantage of a growing talent pool and move away from the shrinking resource of legacy programmers. To date, over 200 person-years of development and testing have gone into RescueWare by a team of top computer scientists and mathematicians from one of the world's most prestigious mathematical schools in St. Petersburg, Russia. This team has been credited with the development of over 200 scientific works.

Relativity also offers ProBookTM, which is RescueWare's comprehensive repository reporting tool. ProBook provides users the ability to create, edit and print end-user documentation and reports from repository-based environments.
