The Desktop Tabs Widget, like most Yahoo! Widgets, was created with a combination of JavaScript, XML, and graphics. This desktop screen shot with several Yahoo! Widgets shows the Desktop Tabs widget on the left. These transparent tabs can launch folders or programs. And since they're tucked close to an edge, they're much less invasive than desktop icons, and they fit in with other Yahoo! Widgets perfectly.
